Thorburn was responsible for the administration and oversight of the Student-Athlete Leadership Forum, ACE Program for Minority Basketball Coaches, Education and Training Symposium, the Needs Assessment, Matching Grant for Minority Women Coaches and serves as the primary liaison to the Student-Athlete Affairs advisory group and Division III National Student Athlete Advisory Committee.

Scott Anderson is a strategic leader and visionary with over 20 years as student-athlete health and welfare advocate. Scott’s expertise resides in clinical and research focused on injury prevention and care of concussion and movement dysfunction. He oversaw the Sports Medicine program at Stanford University for 10 years, where he worked closely with elite athletes to advocate for resources and systems to support the holistic growth and well being of all student athletes. Scott currently works as the CCO of neurotechnology startup SyncThink & advises startups/non-profit organizations focused on kids, healthcare and technology.
